By Ellerston Clarion, a black-bay stallion from the famous Ellerston Australia breeding and a prolific sire — more than forty of his young horses are already in play, and his offspring win Best Playing Pony prizes around the world.
His dam Claret was Gold Cup Best Playing Pony in 2006 with Gonzalito Pieres and played five Argentine Opens with Facundo Pieres; his sire is Night Opera. Clarion is a full brother to the stallion Clark, played at the Queen's Cup and Gold Cup in the UK and Spain — and the Argentine Open — by Pablo MacDonough.
Out of Las Encadenadas Nevadita, a Gold Cup semi-finalist and Warwickshire Cup winner who campaigned at medium and 18 goal for years with Black Bears, Emlor and others — a high-goal mare in her own right.
